प्रातः स्मरामि भवभीतिहरं सुरेशं गङ्गाधरं वृषभवाहनमम्बिकेशम् । खट्वाङ्गशूलवरदाभयहस्तमीशं संसाररोगहरमौषधमद्वितीयम् ॥

प्रातः स्मरामि भवभीतिहरं सुरेशं गङ्गाधरं वृषभवाहनमम्बिकेशम् ।

अर्थ — मैं प्रातः (सुबह), संसार के भय को हरने वाले, देवताओं के ईश्वर, गंगाधर (जिनके जटाओं में देवी गंगा हैं), वृषभ वाहन वाले, देवी पार्वती के पति, हाथों में खट्वाङ्ग और त्रिशूल लेने वाले, वरदान देने वाले, अभय के हस्त वाले, ईश्वर को याद करता हूँ। वे संसार के रोगों को हरने वाले औषधि स्वरुप हैं, और मेरे लिए अद्वितीय आश्रय हैं।

Meaning – I remember in the morning, the one who dispels the fear of the world, the Lord of the deities, the bearer of the Ganges (whose hair holds the sacred river Ganga), the one with the bull as his vehicle, the consort of Goddess Parvati, holding the Khadga (sword) and Trishula (trident) in his hands, the giver of boons, the one with the reassuring hand gesture, I remember that Divine Being. They are the medicine to cure the illnesses of the world, and they are my unparalleled refuge.
