मूर्खशिष्योपदेशेन दुष्टास्त्रीभरणेन च।
दुःखितैः सम्प्रयोगेण पण्डितोऽप्यवसीदति॥
अर्थ — मूर्ख शिष्य के उपदेश देने से और दुष्ट स्त्री के साथ रहने से, संकटपूर्ण परिस्थितियों के कारण पंडित भी दुःखित हो जाता है।
Meaning – Through teaching a foolish student and associating with a wicked woman, even a wise person becomes dejected due to the unhappiness arising from such circumstances.
