हिरण्यवर्णां हरिणीं सुवर्णरजतस्रजाम् ।
चन्द्रां हिरण्मयीं लक्ष्मीं जातवेदो म आवह ॥
अर्थ — हे सभी वेदों को जानने वाले अग्निदेव, मैं आपसे यह प्रार्थना करता हूँ कि आप हिरण्य वर्णा अर्थात सुनहरे रंग वाली और सोने – चाँदी के हार पहनने वाली, चन्द्रमा के समान प्रसन्न कांति वाली लक्ष्मी देवी का मेरे लिए आह्वान करिये।
Meaning – O Agnidev, knower of all the Vedas, I beseech you to invoke for me the Goddess Lakshmi, who is adorned with golden hue, wearing ornaments of gold and silver, radiant as the moon, and who bestows prosperity
