संसारकटुवृक्षस्य द्वे फले अमृतोपमे ।
सुभाषितरसास्वादः सङ्गतिः सुजने जने ॥
अर्थ — संसार के कड़वे पेड़ के दो फल होते हैं जो अमृत के समान होते हैं। एक है मधुर शब्दों का स्वाद और दूसरा सज्जन व्यक्तियों की संगति।
Meaning – In the bitter tree like world, there are two fruits that are like nectar. The taste of good words and the company of noble individuals.
