लोकाभिरामं रणरङ्गधीरं राजीवनेत्रं रघुवंशनाथम् ।
कारुण्यरुपं करुणाकरंतं श्रीरामचंद्रं शरणं प्रपद्ये ॥
अर्थ — जो तीनों लोकों को प्रिय हैं, जो युद्ध क्रीड़ा में धीर हैं, जिनकी आँखें कमल के पुष्प के समान हैं, जो रघु वंश के नायक हैं, जो करुणा की मूर्ति हैं, मैं उन करुणा करने वाले, श्रीरामचंद्र की शरण में आया हूँ।
Meaning – Who is beloved to all three realms, who is courageous in the battlefield, whose eyes are like lotus petals, who is the hero of the Raghu dynasty, who is the embodiment of compassion, I seek refuge in the compassionate Lord Sri Rama.
